Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Geologist Exam 2015 :-
Age Limit :- Candidates age limit should have minimum 21 years to 32 years as on 01st January 2015 and must have been born not earlier than 02.01.1983 and not later than 01.01.1994. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the Govt. Rules & Regulation.
Education Qualification :- Candidates, who have interested in apply, must have Master’s Degree in Geological Science/ Geology/ Applied Geology/ Geo-Exploration/ Mineral Exploration/ Engineering Geology/ Marine Geology/ Earth Sciences/ Resource management/ Oceanography from a University incorporated by State/Central Legislature in India. Refer to notification for more details.
Application Fees :- Candidates have need to pay application fees Rs. 200/- through the any branches of SBI by Cash or using Net Banking facility of SBI, SBBJ, State Bank of Hyderabad, State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of Travancore or using Visa/ Master Credit/Debit Card.
Selection Process :- Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Written Examination, Interview Examination & Personality Test.
