The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) published an employment notification for organize Geo-Scientist and Geologist examination 2015. UPSC invited the online application from the eligible candidates for Geo-Scientist and Geologist 269 post. Registration process was started from 21st February 2015 and it has completed on 20th March 2015. Large number of candidates had applied for the same post and now they are waiting for Examination. After successfully completion of application process, UPSC going to conduct written examination on 23rd May 2015 at the various center’s across the Country.
Information about Written Examination :- The Written Examination will be held on 19 Center’s across the Country on pre allotted exam center’s. Exam center details is Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Delhi, Dispur, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Shillong, Shimla, Thiruvananthapuram.
UPSC Geologist Selection Procedure :- The candidates who registered for UPSC Geologist Examination 2015 , those selection will be made on through Written Examination ( Preliminary & Mains) and after that Personal Interview and Document verification.
UPSC Geologist Examination Exam Pattern/ Syllabus 2015 :-
The Written Examination will be of 900 Marks. Written examination question paper will have 05 paper’s and question’s will asking in English language and question will be asking from subjects of General English, Geology Paper – I, Geology Paper – II, Geology Paper – III, Hydrogeology. Written examination time duration is 03.00 hrs.
