Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) was formed in the year 1966. It conducts SSLC and other examination. Like all the board it prescribes syllabus , divides the session of studies and conducts exams. It also provides affiliation or recognition to many schools. Karnataka Board conducts many examination every year including SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) and Intermediate examination. Every year around 8.38 lac candidates appears in the SSLC Examination.
