The Karnataka State Eligibility Test Center – University of Mysore is a Nodal Agency which recognized by UGC New Delhi responsible for conducting the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for Lecturer/ Assistant Professors (since 2010). Mysore University is one on the Nodal Centers in Karnataka State for conducting the UGC-NET examination twice a year. Applications are invited from 20.07.2015 to 25.08.2015 from the eligible candidates for Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for Lecturer / Assistant Professorship – 2015 to be conducted on 06th December 2015.

KSET 2015 : The Karnataka State Eligibility Test consists of 03 Paper’s & Objective Type Multiple choices questions (MCQ) in 02 Session (details are below). Karnataka SET will be held on 06th December 2015 at the various centers across the state of Karnataka. KSET center will be conducting for 32 subjects at 11 Nodal centers spread across the Karnataka state.

KSET 2015 Exam Syllabus :
Paper 1. General Paper ( Teaching & Aptitude) : The Questions will asking from General subject like Reasoning ability, Comprehensive, Divergent thinking and General awareness. Question paper will contains 60 MCQ and each question will carry of 02 Marks.
Paper 2. Subject Paper : This question paper will consist of the subject which is chooses by the Candidates at the time of Registration. It have 50 MCQ and each question will have 2 marks and Maximum mark of this subject is 100 Mark.
Paper 3. Subject Paper (in depth questions) : This paper is consist of 75 MCQ compulsory questions from the Choose subject by Candidates. Each question will carry 02 Marks and Maximum marks will be 150 marks.
