KSET 2014 Notification :- Govt. of Karnataka, University of Mysore has issued KSET 2014 Notification for the applicants to apply for Lecturer and Assistant Professor vacancies. Candidates who have required qualification can apply Online by logging to the official website of KSET at www.kset.uni-mysore.ac.in . Online Applications are invited through the applicants before the last date of submission of form 31st July 2014.

Karnataka State Eligibility Test is a state level entrance test for various educational courses. Candidates who have done B.Ed or M.Ed are eligible to apply for Lecturer and Assistant Professor vacancies in various educational department. University of Mysore is conducting the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2014 at various 11 centers of Karnataka State. There will be 32 subjects this time to be studied by the applicants. It will also require some education qualification which are mandatory to get selected for the exam.

KSET 2014 Eligibility Criteria :-

Age Limits :- Candidates are informed that there is no age bar.

Educational Qualification :- Applicants must posses Master’s Degree from any recognized university or institute, applicants who have given master’s degree final year exam or their exam has been delayed due to some reason are eligible to apply for the KSET Exam.

KSET Examination Fees :- Applicants who belongs to the General category need to pay Rs 1000/- and for the category IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB it is Rs 800/-. Participants who belongs to the SC/ST category and other reserved category need to pay Rs 500/- . Application fees or Examination fees is to be deposit in any branch of State Bank of Mysore through the Bank Challan which can be downloaded from the official site.

Karnataka SET Exam Pattern :- Karnataka State Eligibility Test  will comprise of Three Papers. Questions will be asked from them in Objective type format.

Selection Process :- Participants have to face Written Exam followed by objective questions.
