Recently the Commission came in news due to delay in result declaration of Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2013. The commission is also caught of not completing the recruitment processes timely. In the year 2013 the commission conducted various recruitment exams for Prasar Bharati, Food Corporation of India (FCI), Junior Engineer and Cabinet Secretariat Exam. The final results of all these exams are still pending as of date.

Court of India has ordered the Commission to declare the result for the above said matter as soon as possible. Candidates has faced many troubles in the recruitment process for SSC GL 2013. This year also SSC CGL exam are conducted at various centers and around 8 lac wrote the exam for SSC CGL.
